Looking back, our hearts are full of gratitude for the 475+ guests and art enthusiasts who gathered at the Saber Center to witness Suraksha’s debut performance. Accompanied by a brilliant six-member live orchestra, it was the culmination of years of dedication. Thank you, Guru Kripa, for your unwavering love, guidance, and support of Suraksha from the very beginning at age two.

We were deeply blessed to welcome nearly 200 guests in person at St. John's Lutheran Church in Brookfield, along with over 40 viewers who joined us via live stream, for Suraksha's maiden Carnatic Vocal Concert on December 10, 2022. Accompanied by a brilliant ensemble on mridangam, violin, and flute, it was an afternoon filled with divine melody. Our heartfelt thanks go to Guru Smt. Srividya Yagnaraman for her exceptional guidance, constant encouragement, and dedicated mentorship throughout this entire journey.

Suraksha’s journey in the classical arts began at the tender age of 3, when she was introduced to Bharatanatyam as a guest artist by Guru Kripa Baskaran, playing her hallmark community performance as little Krishna. Sparking a lifelong passion, she formally initiated her training at age 5.
